David Goodaire: Managing Director David has more than 25 years experience within the pharmaceutical industry in senior commercial and operational roles. 13 years with Eli Lilly gave him a sound development through the various functions necessary to run a successful pharmaceutical business. He was part of the divestment team to prepare and complete the transfer of the worldwide marketing rights from Lilly to Shionogi for the sale and supply of hard gelatine capsules. David saw through the creation of new commercial entity, manufacturing facility and distribution platform compliant to EP and FDA standards while then resident in Madrid. Subsequently, he under took the Country Management role for UK, Ireland and Nordic regions for Shionogi attaining significant market growth. For the last 10 years David’s focus has been on Supply Chain design, development, implementation and management aligned to the corporate strategy and commercial demands of the product profiles in his care. With Pathogenesis Corporation he planned and implemented the introduction of orphan drug TOBI® into Europe. At Chiron Biopharmaceuticals he held a senior management role managing multiple office locations including teams in London, Dublin and Amsterdam for PROLEUKIN® and other oncology products as well as the in-licensing of CUBICIN®. Most recently for Encysive David managed the supply chain and distribution for complete market introduction and full reimbursement of THELIN® for Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension throughout Europe in less than 18 months. David is also a Director of Shield Therapeutics Ltd. What drives David is to accomplish what is perceived cannot be done in a short time at a lower cost. |

A highly experienced quality professional with a background in product development and production operations and career progression through laboratory, QC and QA roles to senior functional responsibility. Eligible for nomination as EU Qualified Person (QP) for both marketed products and IMPs, having successfully operated as a QP for over 25 years covering oral dosage forms, inhaled products, liquid and semi-solid dosage forms and sterile products. In the last 10 years Stewart has focussed on setting up virtual organisations to effectively utilise contract operations for product realisation and supply, while maintaining final control with the product licence holder, overseeing the full process from active pharmaceutical ingredients to commercialised product. Stewart has developed significant skills in change management as his career has been marked by company reorganisations, including site closures, site transfers, takeovers and mergers. Throughout these experiences Stewart’s focus has been to ensure maintenance of professional standards and continuity of product supply, which was achieved through the strengths of the teams involved.
