The following are examples of both short and longer-term projects undertaken

Californian based small pharmaceutical company holding the EU MAA for a product centrally approved for use in the hospital setting required insightful EU market knowledge to inform re and assist in a phased EU launch. BioGotec is working closely with the CEO on a multifunctional basis to advise and provide tactical support and practical implementation to facilitate a timely launch in major EU markets.

A small EU start-up required competent due diligence to inform re the acquisition of its first compound and once acquired BioGotec has then moved to the second phase by providing project management and technical support through Phase III, including API process, dosage form development and clinical trial submissions. This will be an ongoing role to encompass scale-up activities and possibly further involvement as the product moves towards commercialisation.

A small US based Biotechnology Company with a home-administered chronic treatment that will get EU approval in mid-2012. In early 2010 they wanted to present a top-level outline to their Board of Directors of the possible ways to market their product in Europe. BioGotec worked with this client to review all market entry strategic options for Europe, given the nature of their product and its orphan drug status, and to provide the options and recommendations for securing optimal ROI and long-term brand identity and strength on which to build their follow-on portfolio of products. Now in 2011 on the basis of more recent market research BioGotec is working again with this client to refine these options

A mid-sized biotech company that holds stand-alone meetings for approx 500 European KOLs twice a year with recent additions to its portfolio of approved products utilised the commercial function of BioGotec to project manage the entire meeting including internal resource and time management and liaison between the company and all vendors supplying the meeting at a time when the internal structure of the company was undergoing much change.

 

An award winning small US Company with a novel orthodontic product and little understanding of the European market. BioGotec created the appropriate market entry strategy to drive sales and build reputation as a serious player in the orthodontic market.

The European division of a mid-sized global specialty pharma company having acquired a small specialty pharma company required marketing expertise to manage and drive the integrated product business while the parent company is recruiting to build a new EU marketing team. BioGotec provided the interim Marketing Director cover.

A robotics company with a device to maximise efficiency in surgical procedures. A new, novel and high value device and its consumables for service and supply to surgical units globally. The immediate need was to launch in Europe and prepare for USA launch. BioGotec worked with the CEO and senior management to plan and install an outsourced global distribution and customer service operation in a short period on time for launch.

A German based multinational company which required assessment of their capabilities to enter the clinical service and supply market with particular reference to the regulatory and quality aspects of serving their clients. BioGotec worked with the Healthcare management team at various levels and functions to identify the gaps and deliver recommended solutions.

An established pharmaceutical company needing to expand its European market reach based on the in-licence of a specially formulated product for the management of post operative pain. BioGotec worked with the management of the company to validate their expansion plan and identify appropriate commercial and distribution partners for sale and supply in countries such as Germany and the Netherlands.
